     Emma Post
Solicitor & Mediator

Emma is a solicitor based in the Kingston office undertaking all aspects of family law including divorce and financial settlement following the breakdown of a marriage or relationship. Emma deals with various levels of assets in the UK and abroad.

Emma has dealt with a high number of complex financial and children cases many of which have had an international aspect.

Emma also advises and assists in all aspects of Private Children Law including applications relating to arrangements for children after separation and specific issues including relocation with children (both within and outside the UK). Emma also has experience in child abduction and wrongful removal. Emma recently had a reported decision in an international relocation case for a mother to relocate South Africa:-

Emma has been commended for her ability to build relationships with her clients and the barristers she works with, is approachable, forward thinking and pragmatic - always seeking to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

After completing a degree in Politics at the University of Southampton, Emma completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Professional Education and the Legal Practice Course at the Inns of Court School of Law. Emma then trained and worked at City firm Harris da Silva in all aspects of family and civil law, including complex litigation and fraud cases, involving multiple parties.

Emma has a Masters in Child Law from the University of Northumbria, is a member of Resolution and a Resolution trained mediator.

Emma loves travelling, cheese, Indian food and is an avid skier.
